Defense Minister of Azerbaijan meets with President of Iran

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Monday, Trend reported quoting the official website of the Iranian president.

During the meeting, Ahmadinejad described the relations between the two countries as sincere and fraternal, and said that there is no misunderstanding between the two countries.

"The enemies do not want the relations between Azerbaijan and Iran to expand, and create artificial problems. Be sure that the ties between Tehran and Baku will never be broken" Ahmadinejad said.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has congratulated President Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan with the upcoming holiday of Novruz.

Azerbaijani Defense Minister Safar Abiyev in turn congratulated on behalf of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, the people of Iran and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad with the upcoming holiday of Novruz.
