A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Caucasus International University and Caucasus Studies Institute at the University of Tehran (Islamic Republic of Iran) in early November.
The memorandum envisages active scientific-analytical cooperation between the parties, joint research, conferences, lectures and exchange programs.
On November 15, a distance working meeting was held between Jafar Khashe, Head of the Caucasus Studies Institute at the University of Tehran and Maia Kapanadze, Head of the Scientific-Analytical Center for Georgia-Iran Relations at CIU, where current regional policy issues were discussed along with future plans.
During the meeting, Maia Kapanadze presented a report on the topic: “Problems in Iran-Azerbaijan Relations and Position of Georgia” and hamid hakim on the topic: “Common Views on the Problems of the Region.”
Representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Georgia and Caucasus International University administration attended the online meeting.
