The Turkmen side at the forum was represented by heads and representatives of the leading ministries and departments, as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country. The Russian delegation included heads of government agencies, the administration of Nizhny Novgorod and Astrakhan regions, representatives of more than 60 companies and firms operating in various sectors, as well as members of the High Level Group for trade and investment support.
The forum participants noted the significant potential for development of bilateral cooperation in the field of mechanical engineering, shipbuilding, fuel and energy complex, energy, chemical and textile industries, construction and agriculture.
As part of the business forum, representatives of state-owned and private business structures of Turkmenistan and Russia held bilateral meetings.
The Turkmen-Russian business forum also hosted a specialized exhibition of motor vehicles by GAZ Group, which is a part of Basic Element company. The exhibition featured low-tonnage vehicles and heavy haulers, buses, special vehicles for different services.
