Leader of Heritage party of Armenia withdraws his candidacy from the majority system

Leader of the Heritage party Raffi Hovhannissyan has decided to withdraw his candidacy from N۷ electoral constituency, the leader of the party said speaking to reporters March ۲۶. "I have urged all the forces of the opposition to find one format for coming up in all ۴۱ constituencies with one general candidate. The ARF considered the proposal untimely and offered to postpone it until the moment of registration," Hovhannissyan said.

The leader of the Heritage stressed that the ANC was offered that in ۲۱ constituencies its candidates be backed, in seven constituencies the candidates of the Heritage and in rest constituencies the candidates of the ARF or alternative candidates. Hovhannissyan said the ANC declined the offer.
