1,700 large facilities under construction in Turkmenistan

To date, Turkmenistan has built about 1,700 large facilities, with a total value of over $ 42 billion.
These figures were announced today at a government meeting, where the participants summed up the results of 2017 and discussed plans for action for the next period.
It was also reported that in the course of 2017, construction of numerous facilities was carried out, 48.5% of which were for industrial purposes, and 51.5% were related to the social sphere.
Only in rural areas more than 1 million 214 thousand square meters were of residential space has been commissioned. The construction of another 352 thousand square meters of housing, as well as dozens of industrial and social infrastructure facilities is underway.
The turnkey delivery of a complex of facilities for the next stage of construction of the Taze Zaman cottage complex in the suburb of Ashgabat is scheduled for the first ten days of February.
In the capital the pace of construction is not going down either, new residential and administrative districts, business quarters are growing. The capital is preparing for the opening of a glass production plant, which will enrich the modern industrial cluster of Ahal, and a new international airport in Turkmenabat. Construction work continues in the sea resort of Avaza.
